Clothing is very important because some of the trips can go over 1000 meters and risk of snow, wind and rain.(hopefully not at the same time)

It is very important to follow this information, when you should go over 1000m. For black tour / training trip. Here there may be snow flurries, even in summer. Side panier for bike can be borrowed. If you own your bikes, you will need a rucksack for food / clothes etc.

  • Good cycling shoes, The bike has combined pedals so you can have shoes with clipless pedals (SPD). I would recommend it. Then you might have with a pair of lightweight shoes in the bag if you have to walk a bit, but good sneakers with a bit stiff sole also goes smoothly if the weather is fine.

  • Waterproof shoe-cases or waterproof cycling shoes, it can quickly become very cold if it rains.

  • Bike pants short and long,
  • Wind / waterproof jacket and pants eventual thin rainwear
  • Thin thermal underwear is good and have in the backpack.

  •  Important to have is proper footwear, preferably hiking or mountain boots on tours  to Pulpit Rock and Kjerag, it makes the trip much more comfortable.
  • Outside bike clothing I would recommend a weather proof jacket. As you might experience four seasons on your trip.
